33rd Pangretian Citrus Festival: Yiannis Kotsiras at Mylopotamos Garazo
The beloved Yiannis Kotsiras and his colleagues have lovingly prepared an amazing program and are coming to Mylopotamos Garage in Rethymno, as part of the 33rd Pancretian Citrus Festival, on Friday August 18, 2023.
The winter that passed us gave a new experience to Giannis, who took us on a journey with the musical theater show “Catastrophe A” directed by Giorgos Koutlis and texts by Odysseus Ioannou. Their wildly successful shows thrilled audiences and garnered rave reviews.
This summer, with Myrto Vassiliou and Dimitra Boulouzou by his side, Yiannis Kotsiras will present a program full of surprises, inspiring arrangements, songs from the TV series “Sasmos”, but also timeless folk songs that always have their own the venue in his summer concerts.
The special performer of the new generation, Myrto Vassiliou, who has in her baggage collaborations with great artists, such as Marios Fragoulis, Minoas Matsas and Lina Nikolakopoulou, but also with her unique interpretation of “Antigone’s Prison” with lyrics by Nikos Gatsos and music Nikos Chiotoglou, will bring her own flavor to these summer concerts with her freshness, vitality and warm voice.
Dimitra Boulouzou, one of the most charismatic performers and musicians, has to her credit collaborations with great artists and has been a constant collaborator of Yiannis Kotsiras for the last five years. We highlight their collaboration in the song “Petrini Kardia”, which is heard in the TV series “Sasmos”, but also the one with Vangelis Machira in the song “Ta anapoda”.
